Fortunately, here in Colorado, we can still go out for some exercise as long as we are diligent about social distancing. Here are a few photos taken along a trail this morning near our home in western Colorado. It was a beautiful day and for a few hours we could forget about all that was happening down below.

Great pictures. Sure beats hanging out in the house. Up here in Maine brook trout season opens April 1st. Cant wait. Hike in places up to a mile. Fresh air is in order. Be safe everyonet22tionps4tm.jpg now I gotta figure out what to do with all the snow

Gorgeous pictures guys. My wife takes a 3 mile walk during her lunch breaks on the trails behind our house with the dogs everyday. For over 15 years.....now when she goes the trails are packed, with bottlenecks at certain points. Yesterday we went around 6Pm after dinner. There was much less foot traffic but a lot more bikers and even a 4 wheeler. Not sure how long we will continue if it stays that crowded.

All of your photos are great!!

I really like photos that have a single person in them. Why? I don't know.

We're fortunate here. There are no crowds at all. In fact, on most days we will not encounter any other folks at all on the trails. Sometimes there will be one or two other vehicles at the trailheads, but we rarely see anybody around. That was typical even before this crisis started. Lots of miles of trails like this nearby.

Thanks Al. We are fine. We keep our sanity by going out hiking several times a week. Without that, not sure what we would do. I hope you and your family are doing well, too. Did your daughter get her drivers license?

Some great scenery! We have some local trails too that keep our sanity, wish we had views like that though.

Mark - we're doing well. All working from home now, kids included! No, Katie did not get her license yet. She's just about ready, and hoping for her to take the test when things start to settle down a bit.

Stay well, and enjoy those hikes. We take the dog for a walk just about every day it's not raining now and yes, it does help with the sanity!

As the crow flies, it’s about 20 miles from Gateway Canyons. These photos were actually taken in Colorado National Monument. It’s located a few miles behind our house, and gateway canyons is a few miles beyond that.

I think all these were taken with an iPhone x. I also use a Sony A77 SLR, but I don't believe any of these were taken with that camera. I carry both when I am out, and I'm just not able to remember for sure. I was high on sunshine...really, just sunshine, nothing else!
