Sony CDP-CX455 CD Megachangers - I have a pair for sale

Hi folks,

These have had limited use as part of my whole house audio system. I bought them new in 2004 when the system went in. They can be daisy-chained together to work as a mega-mega system. I used two together, but it seems like you can control up to four. They've been in my office for a couple years after I burned my 2,500 plus CD collection to my server after HD space became cheap enough to do it all lossless. They are just taking up space, so someone needs to give them a new home. I have the original manuals and remotes for both units. I'd like to sell them both at once, so I'll take $225 for both or $125 each, plus shipping. I've seen others on eBay for less, but mine actually work and have remotes.

Please respond via PM. Paypal, please and I'll pay the fees.

Thanks Mike. Counting thes two units, I've had Sony changers in my house since they were invented. Can't beat the convenience or sound quality for the price.

I've got a 200 and a 400 disc changer in my system. Never a single problem. Love to hit "random" and let it go for months w/o a dupe. GLWS!

Wow! I'm the OP, and nice to see that these eventually got some interest. I sold them long ago....actually gave them away. Put them up on Ebay, and after the sale had an email conversation with the buyer. She was buying them for her quadriplegic son, who wanted to use them to play music to make the days go by a little easier. She could push 'play' for him and, well, you can guess the rest. He was/is a Metallica fan, so I emptied out every Metallica CD and DVD in my collection and sent them along with the two changers. Also refunded the payment, after they arrived. Seemed like the least I could do.

Very humane gesture you followed through with. You will be forever in that boy's and his mother's thoughts, and to help in what may appear as a dire strait situation.

I have access to a couple of them at my parent's house, but would take a while to get them in-hand since the house is about 3 hours away. I go down there about once a month.

The one I have on-hand is actually a DVD/CD player that also plays SACD. It's a Sony DVP-CX995V. It seems to be a very nice unit.
