Drooling on where you live. One of the most fun clubs I've played in my life was Club La Vela. Was looking at property there but the hurricanes scared me away. I will go back for a visit.
Speakers look amazing. Hope they make their way to a polkie.

Looks like nice SEAS drivers in there. Not sure what the tweeter is, but those are very clean looking and a nice size.

Thanks,, we live on the west end of the beach,, I don’t think Club La Vela is open yet,, but when they do it will be more of a family oriented club from what I read,, the spring break that we knew back in the day is now gone thanks to all of the media coverage and shooting at a party. We still get some breakers but nothing like it used to be.

I'm thinking the B&K that Geppy has for sale would power these nicely.

I'd take them in a heartbeat, especially at that price but I'm not about to start building a 3rd stereo system. I have enough in the two I have. Fun speakers! These are the ones that started my audio journey with Tyler Acoustics, touring Ty's factory, getting the Signature Reference and going crazy with the crossovers.

Would love to have these but have blown WAY too much this past year on audio, engines, cars and other things....not to mention music.

G, you should not have any issue selling these. The Revelator tweeter is probably my favorite tweeter. The Millennium in mine offers you 95% of the Revelator but the Revelator gives you that last 5%. Outstanding imaging out of that tweeter.

"Unfortunately we will not be opening again this season. Club La Vela remains in negotiations with our insurance company. We will post any updates on Facebook and our website. Thanks for all your love and support!"

When we go to PCB, we usually stay around that area. With La Vela and Spinnakers closed ( the huge place next door to La Vela) only thing left is Newbeis and Foghorn for stumbling distance for the wife and I.

How large a room do these need and ideal setup in such a room would be? seeing we have members here with lots of listening time and knowledge...it's that knowledge that is priceless :) .thanks….

@NotaSuv - I have heard them in a LR at Ted's place that had to be 25x14"ish", heard them at Trey's in a 10x12"ish" room, At my pad, they were in a 13x15 room and I have heard them in a loft type setup where the back of the room was open to the rest of the house and they were up against 3 walls that were enclosed, probably about 14x32.

IMO/IME, they imaged better in larger rooms where they had room to breathe but were not slacking at all in a smaller room. Very versatile speaker when it comes to room sizes. The further out from the wall behind them that they sat from, the better they got.

You can almost literally "see" BB King walk across the stage in his "Live at the Regal" album. They have the ability to produce pinpoint imaging when set up properly.
