Power needed for Polk Audio LSI 15

Hi all. First time poster, not sure if this is where to post. I'm hoping you can help me. I picked up a pair of LSI 15 speakers. While they sound great, I feel like they have more to offer based on reviews of these speakers. I'm currently powering them with an Adcom GFA-5300 amp (125 watts per channel @ 4ohm). I know these speakers are power hungry. Do you think getting a more powerful amp (~300 watt) would truly make these sing? First welcome to this forum. The short answer is yes.
Your Adcom is a good amp, but you can do better like the Adcom 5802 which pairs nicely with the LSI15 speakers from my experience. Finding one in good condition for a reasonable price may be difficult though.

There are other amps that would work well. Just ensure the amp is high current, 4 ohm capable with at least 200 - 300 wpc. The more the better up to your budget.
Note that you can run the risk of actually damaging your speakers running a low powered amp with a low impedance speaker, so be careful with that.

If you crank it up, yes, you could blow a tweeter, and those are expensive and I am not sure if polk still carries them...
