    I have 3 of them ...
Love them ...especially for the price.
They sound pretty damn good .... I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised.
Ones driving a Parasound A21 , one a B&K EX-442 and the other coax into a Cambridge 851n ..... that setup sounds noticeably better than the other 2 .
Make sure to set it to FLOORSTANDING speakers.

Enjoy , let us know your impressions...

    Bk
    Dayens Ampino , Yamaha wxc-50 , Polk SDA 1c’s ( my first love .. ) , Kimber Kable 4TC, Sony 42” - BEDROOM

    B&K EX-442 ( it will go in my casket when I die ... ) , PS Audio 4.6 preamp ( old school , but it still jams on ... ) , Eversolo DMP-A6 , Boston Acoustic voyager 7’s - POOL

    Parasound A21, Eversolo DMP-A8 , Yamaha wxc-50 , Kimber Kable 4vs , Salk Supercharged Song towers ( difficult choice between these and my family if I had to choose ... 😩 ) , Sony XBR-A8F 65” OLED - DEN , MAIN RIG

PS Audio S300 - sitting in the closet for now …

You copy me, internal dac isn't terrible for sure
    - Not Tom ::::::: Any system can play Diana Krall. Only the best can play Limp Bizkit.

It's good stuff, the mconnect app does mqa for tidal and it works for quobuz

I find using wired versus wireless makes a difference

I do believe that this is the longest review Russ has ever done. Bravo man.

Damnit I need to get you your real streamer so you can get off the Bluetooth. *shudder* Judy has warped your sense of apropos.

Trey, the problem is, Russ doesn't have a local internet connection and has to rely on tethering to his phone. He also has a NAS but no internal network to speak of at the house so the connection will be NAS-->USB-->Micro PC with MediaMonkey/MediaMonkey Remote on his phone.

And IIRC, the WXC50 does not have a way to tether a cellular connection...only WiFi/LAN or BT.

    I considered the node ...
I went with the Yamaha ..... 3 of them .....
Closest thing I could find that did everything the Yamaha did was the maranta NA 6006 - at twice the price - and no 12v trigger ....
Way more flexible , Tons of inputs and digital outputs so you can use as a transport with an external DAC , internal power supply , and biggest reason for me is it has SiriusXM- which I listen to a lot ....
It’ll do SiriusXM In 16/44.1 - sounds pretty good.

Although the node will do TIDAL MQA , I feel it’s not that important to me - especially since I’m using an 851n for my main critical listening rig for Tidal and fed SiriusXM via coax from the Yamaha ....

It really is a huge bang for the buck ...
