    Joe,
    The unit arrived on Thursday (11/21) in mint condition as advertised and well packed. It's currently replacing the Dared pre and I am listening to it as I type. Thanks for the quick shipping & the great deal.

    Which Dared? You don't feel like you lost a little in the way of holographic imaging going from tubes to SS?

    should be straightforward to troubleshoot (that's the other best thing about well designed vacuum tube equipment... besides sounding really good, you know?).

    I don’t think people are scared. There’s just a lot of tube purists and I’m not sure there’s anything wrong with that. After dabbling in tubes if I was ever to go back to a pure 2 channel setup, it would include a tube preamp all day. I like my ss stuff too but there’s just something to tubed equipment that is very mesmerizing

    Was more tongue in cheek Zach, I get it though. I’m just glad to have synergy for my type of music and sound without the tubes. Had a 2ch setup with Jolida amps and those Totems for some time so I definitely get the sound difference.
