Kicking myself.

I’ve been forced back inside thanks to the changing weather so I’m actually spending time with my system again.

Decided to take the 55” TV out of the system since I hardly watch it at all.

Good god, I did not realize how much that TV was killing my soundstage!

MUCH better focus and overall soundstage. Vocals were brought down about 2 feet and much, much less smearing overall.

TV is finding a new home in the basement to be used with my bike trainer to display Zwift.

Good riddance.

    Sounds good to me!

What is this TV of which you speak?
    I vaguely remember them.
I guess we have a couple -- basically never turn them on, though.

It's a hypnotizing device, used by parents, media, to either babysit, or brainwash. Kinda like tablets and cell phones today. :)

Glad you could hear the difference. Most here would say, a TV doesn't belong in a dedicated music room anyway....for the exact reasons you just described.

I'm gonna put a blanket over mine, now that I think about it I have a couple of bare acoustic panels that would be good to test with.
