Outlaw ICBM settings..?

Just curious about any of you fellow Outlaw ICBM users out there...what are your settings, and what have you found by trying different ones. Mine are as follows:

F L/R: 60
C: 80
S L/R: 80
LFE MIX: about 4 o'clock
Sub Level: at reference level (~ 1 o'clock)
Main recombine: ON

I find that my LSi9's can handle low freqs pretty well down to the 60Hz range, and so can the LSiC, but it starts to resonate the TV a bit around then, so I set the Xover Freq at 80 for the center. Some DVD's sound better withe the mains set at 80, but others get to overwhelming in the lows (like the LOTRs), so 60 is a better setting. 60 also seems to work better with music.

my settings are virtually identical to yours, with the main recombine off. (i figure why give the mains the strain if the sub is doing all the work. i have more vintage speakers, thus making driver replacement a pain in the @ss. I honestly havent tried it out with the main recombine on at all.

I just recently turned the 'recombine' switch off, and have found that the overall sound quality is better. Better definition and blending. Still, for some movies, setting the mains to 80Hz has worked better, but for music, 60Hz for my LSi9's is right on.

In terms of price/performance value, the ICBM is still the single best component that I've added to mys system.

I don't use the sub setting on my ICBM, the center / mains are set at 60Hz with the surrounds set at 80Hz.

I keep scanning by this thread and thinking it's about Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles. You'd think Outlaw would have come up with a better acronym for their bass controller

if you feel the bass management on your reciever or pre/pro is inadequate, than this is your product. i used to use a klipsch promedia dd 5.1 as a pre pro. its major weakness was the limited 120 hz cossover for bass frequencies. used the ICBM to rectify it, and it did a splendid job doing so.

Thanks, acording to outlaw it is a great product and lots of people buy them and very few come back to be sold as b-stock.
I just want to hear from real users what they thought.
