    So, I think the time has come.

    The Classified section here has always been about Polk members selling their personal audio related items to other Polk members as a way to pass on extra audio related stuff at perhaps a discounted price. It has never been about someone using it as a means to do business, which is exactly what the OP has been and continues to do. This needs to end now. Therefore, doctorcilantro, either cease voluntarily or Polk will be asked to handle it.

    This place is about sharing. Sure we buy/sell, often at crazy cheap prices, but that's the point. Share your experiences and equipment with others as you travel along your journey! :)

    Regarding the rules of the forum: Why there is no rebuke of a CP member (I won't mention his name but it's quite obvious who he is) who has been constantly selling gear on here for years with little contribution in other subjects regarding audio. Or the fact that other CP members are allowed to sell gear for a friend, relative, etc. All of the rules should be applied evenly to everyone.

    Agreed, but until we have an actual active mod this entire discussion is moot. Its the wild west and anyone can do whatever the h3ll they want!!!

    You make valid points of concern, so lets address them.

    If your referring to DSKIP, he's been a member, a contributing member for a while now. He also happens to be a Polk authorized dealer, not sure if he still is or not. He certainly does contribute in other threads. He also contributes behind the scene, in PM's, events, helping members individually that you may not be aware of.

    As for some members selling stuff for family or friends- Normally these instances happen when a relative or close friend falls on hard times, dies, divorced, or some other tragic event happens. We are not without compassion for these people, and it doesn't happen that often to consider it an abuse of the rules. If it did, we'd address the problem.

    Just wanted to clear that air a bit, hope that explains some of your concerns. Rock on..
