So SVS did an event here in SLC showing off their 3000 subs and Prime Pinnacle speakers. I had a good conversation with Gary Yacoubian talking all kinds of fun stuff about the industry.
After the event he reached out to me to do a Featured system for their website .
It was a fun to do and everyone over at SVS are a great part of this crazy hobby.

Nice! A system well worthy of a showcase. Super clean setup and the space looks better than a showroom.

They take their product and commitment to the hobby pretty seriously.
They were hinting at this award the night they had their event. Gary was excited about it.

    Thanks
It is a little intimidating to put it all out there. I really enjoy the hobby and I know we all have differences of opinion on things but that’s what makes it fun and interesting.

Pair of PC-2000's keep our house thumping pretty good.

I’m sure they do. They are great subs. I still have one in my MB.
The 4000s are an upgrade for sure and add even more to the experience. I don’t want to test their limits. Drywall repair is not my thing.

Not my thing either. The PC 2000's are perfect for out set up and room. Anything more would be overkill here. I know SVS does it up right. And your set up is amazing btw!!

Thanks it was around 3 years to do it all.
As I upgraded to new equipment I sold or gave away to friends and family. Polk in every home I say.
I ended up being a bad influence on a few people. LOL

Thanks man. I swear that wire management is the worst part of setting up a system.
I recently helped a couple with their system in a modern downtown loft. They had a glass wall behind their system and the wiring would all be seen from the stairwell. It took about 4 hours to get all the wires hidden or just right for them.
The glass wall was not good for the sound either. They are ordering some GIK panels for their room now.

  • Great article! I can say from personal experience Mark's system is fantastic. The subs do things to your guts, the Atmos puts sound all around around, and the A9's have more than enough power to crack off anything you like. Crazy thing is, Mark has like four systems in his house! LS90's, More SVS Subs, more polk LSi's and RTi's, and Marantz components through the house! The guy is truly a Polk Devotee.
