Finally ended up getting this one. There was some NASTY bass in this movie. My sub kinda sucks, relatively, but it still was rockin the house. Great surround effects all around. And I found the movie pretty entertaining too. Pleasantly surprised
If you will it, dude, it is no dream. -
Picked this up this weekend and watched it today. Both my wife and I really enjoyed this flick. It had all you could want in a flick, great action, story, picture and audio quality. Look forward to seeing this again.

Well, I finally watched this one. I had been protesting it for a while, but since I have Netflix now, it don't cost me nothing to try it right?
I must say I was pleasently suprised. I have not read Asimov's book, and I am sure the movie did a huge injustice to it. Nonetheless, I really enjoyed the movie. A bit cheesy at times, but very fun.
The PQ was outstanding. I am sans surround sound at the moment, and I played it at a low volume, without a sub, so I can't really comment on the SQ.
The cinematics and computer generated effects were pretty great too. I am glad I finally watched this one. -
That is what I had heard, and having read a lot of Asimov's books, I was prepared for a let down.Originally posted by Shizelbs

But I was also pleasantly surprised when I watched 'I Robot'. While the story is not an Asimov story. The writer wove serveral of Asimov's ideas together into a good story, complete with plot twists (Asimov always has plot twists). So it is a very Asimov-esque story, that I found entertaining.Win7 Media Center -> Onkyo TXSR702 -> Polk Rti70 -
I was prepared for let down too. I felt there was no way this movie could be anything like Asimov's stories. Funny thing though is the whole time I was watching the movie I kept thinking 'I have to read his stories.' You could call it my own little plot twist.
