  • The 707s are back to full price at $2000 each. So I won't be getting those, unless they go on sale again.

However, the 705s are on sale for $449 each... I have never seen them that cheap. Thoughts?

Reason I ask is I think I got the ok to get the 705. I would have to keep the CSI center.

I'm trying to sell my two S55's and S30 for $500 on a local neighborhood site and Facebook Marketplace.

The lowest price I found online for refurnished was $219 for the S55"s and $199 for the S30.

Congrats on getting a pair of 705's.

Looks like I'll be sticking with CSiA6 for now. Wife was a little more than pissed about me getting new speakers. I built my TV stand in hopes of someday getting a 706C but I only have 8&3/4" height opening, a daaa on my part.

If the 706C dropps to under $300 I'll grab it and build a new stand.

Oh yeah, the S60 wife wants me to sell them. I'm looking at a zone 2 setup in the living room. Add a small amp and wait till she is gone for a weekend to run the wires.

I agree. These new LSiM speakers are selling at used prices or thereabouts.
I picked up the 706c myself but want to get a pair of 702F/X if they drop them more.

If the new line is premium priced, serious buyers may be nervous about the future resale market if Sound United clears them at fire sale prices at the end run.

My 706 wouldn’t fit in the location I have my CSiA6 either. The opening I have is ~8.5”.
I packed the 706 back up after inspection for damage so I cannot measure it exactly now.
The Polk website specs have it at Height 9”, Width 28.75”, Depth 13.81”.
I have to find another rack to hold mine so I am now on a hunt for something suitable.

Yeah if I get one and it doesn't fit then it will stay in the box for a bit. wife is already pissed about the speakers. Building a new stand right now would be too much, I think she would loose it on me. A 704 @ $200 I can swing with my fun money but too many people said that's a step down from my CSIA6. How well does the CSIA6 blend with the LSiM?

I did mess up when I built my stand, width of dado stack + wood thickness = oops.

Getting LSiM's was always a pipe dream till these prices.

Mrloren when are suppose to get your speakers? I get mine Wednesday.

I agree about owning LSiM's was always a pipe dream till these prices, I never thought I would owning any.

Should be this week, I ordered yesterday so I won't get shipping info till tomorrow. I ordered my S60 package on a Saturday and got them here in SoCal on the following Thursday.

These Adorama prices make me nervous for the future flagship Polk coming our way. How many here are willing to pay full retail, knowing that in a very short period of time, they will be sold for these ridiculous prices....

Actually, I think it's been about 10 years, that's not really a short time even though time does fly :)

How well does the CSIA6 blend with the LSiM?

I have a 706 that blends well with RTiA9's, you should be good with your CSiA6....for now :)

can you pretty please measure the height on your 706C please. I have about 1/2" above my CSiA6

LSiM line has been out for ten years as someone else has stated. This sale will end tonight if my guess is right. Lots of bang for the buck. IMHO. Really shine with proper amp. I loved my 703’s and I now love my 705’s. I am sure they would sound even better within a dedicated two channel set up.

    Study long, study wrong.
    Love yours. D

How much can I sell my S60 for.

I picked up my bedroom system S55's for $250. Used, but only a couple months old.
That asking price might be a stretch.
