The first season was a disappointment. The second was even worse. How does the third compare to the first two?

I love stranger things! We're through episode 7 and planning to finish the season tonight.
For my taste, they nailed the perfect combo of intense, funny, nostalgic and even a little cheesy at times. It's not a perfect show for highbrow critical writing, and it requires buying into the scifi aspect. I liked the third season more than the second. Dunno why but I wasn't a fan of season 2.Just a dude doing dude-ly things

Season 3 started out slow for me. Not a huge fan till around halfway through, then I enjoyed it, maybe a little better than Season 2.
