Having a cookout at my mom's place. I'll have grill duty since my father is no longer with us. Mom's having a hard time accepting that but is determined to pull it off. Miss you dad.

Along with some meatses -
Was going to take advantage of a free cabin a couple hours away that my wife had won in a crazy pot luck drawing but 2 of our dogs are up there in age and need our love so that's where we decided to stay. No pets allowed where we were going and neighbors are not going to love our doggies like we do. Kinda stuck😄 I don't mind.
Happy Independence Day to all."if it's not fun, it's not worth it & remember folks, "It's All About The Music"!!

I missed Season 2 after watching half of the first episode. Eagerly awaiting 3 as a lot of the series is filmed around here....the City of Homes. 🙂

Going to begin my day with a reading of the Declaration of Independence, and playing patriotic music. Later, I will light the grill for hot dogs and burgers. Fireworks are still a possibility, but we also need to take my son’s little ears into account, so we won’t be going to the big shows this year. The Gear... Two years ago we had the interesting experience of hearing Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer (who happens to have a vacation home in our little town) read the Declaration of Independence at our town's annual parade. That was pretty cool.
