Does the speaker just sit on the spikes, or can they be bolted to the speakers?

What are you talking about Bud?

Does the speaker just sit on this bar, or are the spikes bolted to the speakers?

How many participants would we need to run a batch of these? If Brian is still interested in doing these of course.

  • I think what I'm going to end up doing is producing like 15-20 sets and just putting them up for sale. Unfortunately/fortunately we're so swamped at work right now it'll take a minute to do all of these. But I will definitely be running a batch.

Sweet, B) count me in please. It's good to hear your busy at work that's a good thing. I have no problem waiting these out. This last group buy went smooth thanks to all, and I can only imagine most who participated will want to add some bling to their Dreadnought.

Brian's attention to detail is second to none. You give him time leave him alone and excellent things come to fruition.
    He's a most excellent machinist I've witnessed it !!

No, he moved on, working for ball now, he made a great move. He is still into audio, and we still chat once in awhile. We have no time for personal projects like we once did, so if we needed dreadnought cases today, or rings, I would never be able to get them done, not in quantities like that anyway. We have added two million dollars worth of equipment over the last two years and still can’t get on the top side. It truly is crazy times…

In your field that don't go far.
Good to hear sounds like the covid thing hasn't affected you as much.
My sons company has had to shut down twice as they can't get regular steel deliveries or other necessities to keep going.

My job in the insurance company has had paper product deliveries pushed back since August. We're down to a one month supply of envelopes our vendors have now pushed orders into the end of January (maybe). Companies we contract with to send stuff out are not able to get the multi ton giant rolls of paper to make your bills, statements or envelopes, it's crazy.

Just before covid we went to "just in time" delivery of products and scaled back our warehouse of products on hand. Previous to that we stocked a years worth of product to buffer against things like this. Now you know we're "streamlined" for efficiency and cost control. We old timers asked the new younger directors "what if" and were laughed at, YEA they're not laughing now as our "what if" questions are now playing out big as **it.

Say hello to Brian the next time you guys are together.

Last December our vendors gave us warning of what might be forecasting ahead with materials, they must of seen something, we invested a good some of stock in materials, we dig into it only when needed and order more of that material before we get close to touching it, some materials especially stainless can take 6-8 weeks to get in, in doing this it has helped us keep things moving, we also have had to do this for fittings, handles, and other items, so far so good, and word on the street is the mills are starting to catch up with demand, hot rolled steels have actually started to drop in cost, so good signs looking forward.

I follow certain artists, and they are having paper supply issues just as you have stated, I feel very fortunate to work for a company that has a solid foundation that we were and are able to do the things we do, and plan ahead, many companies have found themselves between a rock and a hard place to keep things moving..

I will do, I wish he still poked his head in here now and then..
