Normal idle temp for a B&K Reference 30?

For those with a B&K Reference 30, how warm is it at idle? With an ambient temperature of 76F sitting on a hard shelf with 1.5"+ clearance for both top and sides, the laser in my multimeter is showing up to 112.5F on the top. Is that normal?
(Yes, I know it has a computer running inside with passive cooling.)
There's no substantial heat from any device below it as of this measurement.

I recall seeing one in store years ago and almost bought one but didn't because they had a several week back order and it was expensive. Went with Rotel instead. I do remember that it ran quite warm, and was surprised by that. The manual should say how much clearance is recommended. The 1.5" on top may not be enough.

Manual says 3" top clearance. That's why I have two AC Infinity fans on it now.
(Heat measurement above taken without fans running for an hour.)

My question about how much heat others have.
