No Dolby audio through Xbox one c

So I’m trying to watch Netflix, Hulu and Prime video on my Xbox One X. When I connect my Polk Signa S1 to the console via an optical cable, the green light indicating Dolby audio does not illuminate. I’ve reset everything. Sound bar, Xbox, everything I can think of resetting. Why is this happening? What can I do to fix it?

Check the audio settings menu, there is a part where you can choose what decodes what... I think that will be the answer.- Not Tom ::::::: Any system can play Diana Krall. Only the best can play Limp Bizkit.

The soundbar might require output set to PCM. Try that in the audio/speaker setup.
