Isolation Pads to angle center channel

Hey everyone looking for feedback on the Auralex MoPAD-XL for the Polk 706c center channel. It is expensive but if it does the job will pick up a pair. They come with wedges that let you change the angle. I'm only wondering if it will work since the speaker is a bit curved.
