    Thanks man... I hope they get away from the influence of the NSX up front and smooth out some of those deep creases in the hood. The best looking mid-engine car I have ever seen was still Bill Mitchell's crowning achievement.

    1957 Corvette with fuel injection

    I read this story yesterday about a 1957 Corvette with a fuel injection. The 1957 Corvette was always my favorite.

    It reminded me of a day in 1957. My dad was looking at 57 Chevrolets to replace our 1955 Chevy. He and I were going to various Chevrolet dealers to look at the colors available. In Villa Rica Georgia which is about 40 miles west of Atlanta (no I-20 then), we saw the mechanics under the hood of a new 1957 black/white two door sedan. We learned the car had a fuel injection that the mechanics were trying to adjust. The fuel injection really impressed me at a very young age. I remember it looked like the one on this Corvette. Of course, my dad purchased a four door Coral sedan which later became my car.
