"The tapes for this album were acquired from an ardent fan who fortunately was present the nights Lester Young played the Savoy Ballroom and he had a tape recorder present recording every note. These masters were recorded at the Savoy in New York City in 1950."
This is an APEX record Corp. pressing (1963-1965)?
The cover's colors are soft. The outer edges of the the vinyl
    aren't trimmed nicely. The difference between a $5 and a $25 LP
to collectors. As this is essentially a bootleg. It's good enough for me. B)

Back in the pre-teen/teenage days, I used to walk to the Library,
sit at a station, and listen to great old blues and Jazz. When I could
afford a cassette tape recorder, I started making comps of this stuff.
I made a comp of this artist for my parents. At first they thought it was
"kooky." It turns out that it became their favorite tape to listen to
on vacations. Here is a couple NM versions.

There comps are pretty good. Hopefully the comp you have is '' Datapanik in the Year Zero '' Highly recommend it. Also Ray Gun, Modern Dance, Dub Housing. And if your an Ubu fan you really need to checkout the band that started Pere Ubu & The Dead Boys. Rocket From The Tombs

I had heard of RFtT but never got around to checking them out. Thanks Chum.

I’ve been exploring 80’s stuff and buying the Lp’s when I find them. Overall it’s been great. Most of what I buy I like. Stan Ridgway has been an absolute joy to listen to.

I like Ridgway too, he's different in a good way, story-telling lyrics plus he enunciates his words well so they're easy to hear clearly and not buried in the music.
