Spring Ride in the Ozark Mountains

Spent a few days last week riding out of Eureka Springs, Arkansas with Carlton, Club Polk member "Legender" and a couple of new friends, Robert and Jerry.

Had one rainy day, but other than that, I had a great time cruising around the Ozark Mountains with these guys! Looking forward to another trip one day.

Carlton on the right with on his Gold Wing, he throws that thing around like a 300 lb. Sport Bike!
Robert on the left, Jerry was somewhere?

Always fun hanging out with like minded Audio Nuts, who happen to be Motorcyclist as well!

It's been a terribly cold Spring here as well, the temp made it up to 70 one day, and it felt like Summer!

I go to DeMaster's Harley. Roseville. Small shop, does great work. He updated my Heritage last year with a S&S carb. He did a lot of work for me on the Sporty too.

    Ride Safe Polkies!

In fact, I'm considering a full face helmet this year. The wind and pipes mess-up my hearing for at least 12 hours.
After riding, I could listen to a Close N Play and I'd say it sounded ok

No need for CB/Intercom use. Any recommendations?

Good thought Glenn. I do a full face for longer highway type rides, 1/2 helmet for around town.

Arai. Comfort—A+. Noise reduction is very good, and I also use ear plugs. Safety—highly rated, thankfully I’ve not had personal experience. Cost—expensive, but IMO worth every penny.

I also wear a Full Face plus Ear Plugs. Just like anything else in this world, you get what you pay for. GOOD helmets are not cheap, but as stated by Derf, worth every penny.

I wear a Shoei Neotec, a Modular Style (has the flip up face) and have been very happy with it.

The Arai is one of the best, Schuberth is another quality brand.
