Anyone have one, heard one ? The deal on these is almost too good to pass up. I'm hesitant though, because they came and went so fast and being closed out. The audio guy in me says something must be up with these.

Still, the flip side is you'll never find a MF integrated at that price, even used. They rarely come out with a stinker, and their sound is something to chase after.

They may only be 70 watts a channel, but they throw out 25 amperes of current. My old B&k receiver, a powerhouse by any measuring stick, had 27 amperes.

600 bucks....what's the catch with these ?

    Reviews have always been good.... For $600? don't know if it can hurt that bad if it is a stinker and there should be a return policy on it no?

    A bit of mixed reviews Mikey, some absolutely love it, others not so much. Just wondering if anyone here has picked one up and their thoughts.

    I'm fairly certain, it's a bit of a departure from their CR sound found in many of their other pieces.

    If it makes you feel better I found sites selling it for $999. The $999 unit HAS to sound better than the $600 unit

    I bought one a while back while considering integrated amps.

    It was ok but it didn’t have the warmth of my separate components. I guess I was asking too much of an integrated. FWIW, I ended up with the NAD C 316BEE and I’m very happy with it. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to compare them directly to one another. I did send the MF back. Also, the unit that I purchased was a trade in to Music Direct so it had already been “broken in.”

    That was probably me Don. I “compared” now he three integrated amps that I auditioned; the MF M2si, the Dayens Ampino (upgraded version with Mundorf caps), and the NAD C 316BEE.

    It’s all about that elusive synergy we speak of so often around here. Just because it didn’t float my boat, with my speakers and gear, in my room, doesn’t mean that you aren’t going to love it when it’s paired with your stuff.
