Has anyone ever taken the TL center channel apart? I think I broke the speaker post.

Ok, did some poking around, and it appears there are 2 options I see: the units are either sonic welded together (unlikely) or behind the grill post bushings are the attachment screws.
Wish I had a better answer, but I've never had one in my hands. -
Thanks I'll check that out.

What did you break and how'd you break it? Before you go cracking that open, maybe there's an easier way to deal with the problem you're having.

Remove the grille post rubber cups and you'll find the screws that hold the front baffle onto the enclosure.

I had just got it back from my daughter and I was trying to remove the cap from the speaker post. Didn't notice the post was turning with the cap.Airplay355 wrote: »What did you break and how'd you break it? Thanks, any suggestions on how without damaging them (the rubber cups).KennethSwauger wrote: »Remove the grille post rubber cups and you'll find the screws that hold the front baffle onto the enclosure. -
Thanks @FestYboy, @KennethSwauger and @Airplay355 for the help. I was able to disassemble it and tighten the post.

That's good, glad you could fix it.

I know this is an old thread but - All's well that end's well.
It is amazing how clever manufactures are when "sealing" their goods. Also amazing is the depth of information out there to "unseal" their goods.
