Trouble staying logged in?

Is anyone else finding that they have to log in at least once a day? I have always had it checked to keep me logged in, but for the past month or so, it logs me out almost every time. And it happens on two different computers.

And now it's started not opening up the login box, just shows a very small box with an X. I only got back in by paging back to the previous time I was logged in.

Happens all day long to me too. In order to get back in I have to click the registration tab and then it shows I am logged in again... more Vanilla weirdness.

Interestingly, this also started a couple of weeks ago for me. However, it is another audio site, not this one. Plus, it only happens on my iPad Mini. There is no problem with the full size iPad. Very frustrating.

I used to be able to open up another session on my PC, while already logged on. Now when I do it, it asks me to login to the new session. Weird.

Happened to me two or three times on my macbook pro/Chrome. Login box is tiny/inaccessible. Refresh the page a few times and voilà, I am logged back in.

Do you guys let your browsers save your login info? If so, it should be prepopulated when you open your bookmark and click Sign In?

I do and it does. But for a couple months, if I left and came back, it would show me signed out after only a short while. Stopped doing that now but I didn't do anything different.

I do, but when I get the "microbox" with the X in it, I cannot click on the username field to kickstart the autofill.

That said, hasn't happened in 4 days or so.

Same here. I've never had log in issues, but three or four times in the last week I was suddenly logged out and refreshing the screen somehow logged me back in.

Happening again! Couldn't refresh enough times, so I assumed the tiny login window was active and entered my userid/password. It worked.

Well done! I admire your intuition and your dedication! That crossed my mind, but I was scared to try -- I hit refresh instead (and got lucky)!

youse two guyses on -- ahem -- "mobile platforms"?

This laptop did an OS update this morning and I went out and ran some errands -- but I still didn't have to log in again :p when I got home and fired it back up. Nor have I had to for the past week or so on this pute.

On the lappie downstairs, I did have to log on again last night at one point (FWIW).

It seems to be either "platform-specific" (well, platform biased) or just wildly intermittent -- from my perspective (and, again, FWIW).

interesting - maybe (???) something to do with IP address(?)
