Going on another cruise to Alaska

Options
1st cruise was over 10 years ago and we loved it. Going back next year with my sis and hubby. Man, have prices increased!! We did the whole trip(incl. airfare) for what the room is costing this time.

Ports of call will be Icy Strait, Juneau and Ketchikan. Done some research on excursions but wondered if any Polkies have had first hand experience at any of the ports?

So far we are probably dong whale watching in Icy Strait and possibly the zip line if I can overcome my fear of heights for the 90 seconds, Tracy Arm in Juneau and totem pole park in Ketchikan. Not sure where we'll eat when off the ship though.
Yep, my name really is Bob.
Parasound HCA1500A(indoor sound) and HCA1000(outdoor sound), Dynaco PAS4, Denon DP1200 w/Shure V15 Type V and Jico SAS stylus, Marantz UD7007, Polk L600, Rythmik L12 sub.

Flew in and out of Juneau once -- we visited some nearby glacier, but offhand I don't remember the name. We were mostly further north/west than that part of Alaska.

Mrs. H's been to Alaska several more times than have I, but that's been for birding & to much more remote locations (e.g., Nome, Barrow, Pribilof Islands) :p I think she was in Ketchikan last summer, but dunno where she might have been while there.

@mhardy6647 I believe that would have been the Sitaantaagu or Mendenhall Glacier.

I knew there were sperm whales, but for some reason never put together that there would in-turn have to be dong whales. Public school fails me again. :/:#
