I can't really provide a true comparison because these were used in a different system with different gear. The Pangeas were used in my HT system with my LSIM 703s but had SVS subs. When I owned AQ Columbia XLR cables I was using them with my LSi15s. Based on the descriptions the cables have similar construction except my AQ Columbia had the DBS system.

That being said it is really hard to characterize the sound between the two. Also I am pretty new to the game and don't really have critical listening experience. I enjoyed the Pangeas and originally did not plan to replace them except that I moved up the Wireworld cable family for my 2 Channel setup from the Silver to Gold so I re-purposed my Silver Wireworld cables to my HT setup. This was based on I was having a hard time selling my WW Silver cables so I figured the Pangeas might move easier at a lower price point.

If you wanted to try a set out I might be willing to work something out.

Ok that sounds more than fair. Let me make sure no one else wants to buy them outright and I might try one of the higher end 2m pairs.
