Interactive Music Map

I thought this was interesting. You type in a band, and it displays similar groups in a distributed pattern.

Not exactly sure how to read this but the first band I typed in.........Pink Floyd is closest to Led Zeppelin, Queen, The Beatles, and the Doors (and a band called Tame Impala).

I do like those other bands (except for the Tame Impala part). But I would not call them similar in any way. I think I will pass.

And why does everything keep moving around?

Think you might actually like Tame Impala. Might want to check out an online video.

Neat! If there is some intelligence behind it, would be a good way to explore music that you may like.

I've noticed a similarity to Pandora, when creating a new station. Either way, it's fun!

Just found out there's a version for movies and books too. Makes sense, similar algorithm all you would need is the data sets.
