I saw some amps I could afford but they're probably just boat anchors now. :D

I've always thought the goal of high-end audio was not to have your neighbors bang on the wall and say, 'Turn that darn music down' but to have your neighbors bang on the wall and say, 'Tell your friends to go home and you can practice later this week'.

Just what I needed another site full of temptation

As it turns out I knew this fellow and have had several deals with him in the past. Sadly he's no longer with us as I just found out. I knew he was a collector but I had no idea that he took it to that extreme. Rip Walt
  • You have to credit Walt with having a plan in place for the proper redistribution of this gear back into the market. Too many times, this is left to chance and gets destroyed.

2 channel: Anthem 225 Integrated amp; Parasound Ztuner; TechnicsTT SL1350; Vincent PHO-8 phono pre; Marantz CD6005 spinner; Polk SDA2BTL's; Cables ZU Mission IC's, SC and power cords, all into a PS Audio Dectet Power center.

Nice grab; and I see had a lot of 240's to choose from. I thought it was over and then I saw day 2 auction today. I see he had a thing for Thorens TD124's and SME arms as well
