Gotta love Lowe's and their veteran discount. HD offers a vet discount too but they are not as nice as Lowe's. Lowe's it it's on sale you still get the discount, HD doesn't.

When I was a kid my parents told me to turn it down. Now I'm an adult and my kids tell me to turn it down.

  • I will personally will pay more (within reason) @ Lowes than buy anything from HD.

    Good Job Lowes.
2 channel: Anthem 225 Integrated amp; Parasound Ztuner; TechnicsTT SL1350; Vincent PHO-8 phono pre; Marantz CD6005 spinner; Polk SDA2BTL's; LAT International speaker cables, ZU Mission IC's and power cables all into a PS Audio Dectet Power center.

Other; M10 series II, M7C's, Hafler XL600 amp, RB-980BX, Parasound HCA-1500 amp , P5 preamp, all in storage. All vintage Polk have had crossover rebuilds and tweeter upgrades.

Our HD only gives vet discounts to active service. Which is stupid because they are NOT homeowners generally. Lowe's is just way better anyways. When I Shop in Washington (just across the river) and scan my lowes card they automatically give me a military discount and don't charge me Washington state sales tax. HD makes me fill out a form every time.. they suck.

HD is not what it use to be. Only time I will go there is if Lowe's doesn't have what I am looking for.
