A special thanks to Robert Frantz a great young man I had the pleasure of working with and mentoring before he enlisted to better his life..

You will never be forgotten my friend......

This is our new Vets Memorial. It opened 10/27/18 , in time for Vets day 2018. It is built on the same ground as the original built in 1955 (torn down), Columbus, OH.

I want to honor my Uncles, Paul WWII, Wiley WWII, and Uncle Frank WWII and Korea, who was shot down over N. Korea and a POW. All 3 were combat veterans. Also a special shout out to my friends and acquaintances who served in Vietnam. Some are still fighting that war today.

As well as all other Veterans, past and present.

Man, I was just in Columbus for the OSU/Nebraska game. Didn't know about this or I would have checked it out.

In Michigan, you can show your DD214 to the Secretary of State, and they'll add a veteran designation to your Driver's License.

For Lowe's, you register on-line and submit a scanned copy of the same. When making a purchase, you have to proclaim that you're a veteran, and they check in they're system to see if you've registered.
