From the Pallet o' Polks:

Offered for your listening pleasure are eleven LSiM-703 speakers, six Mt. Vernon Cherry and five Midnight Mahogany.

I have not fully removed any of these from their boxes simply because I don't want to risk putting a mark - nay, even a fingerprint - on them. The photographs are of one of the speakers I have partially unboxed.

With that said, the two speakers I've seen so far are as close to mint condition as they can be. I won't call them mint because to me "mint" means "untouched since originally leaving the factory." But damn, these things are beautiful. There's absolutely no sign of use or wear anywhere. The grills are perfect. They're 10/10, as close to mint as you'll ever find on the secondary market.

Each box is marked with a label like the one you see in the photos, indicating that these are Polk-refurbished speakers. The boxes and packing foam do show signs of stress from shipping and, apparently, having been stored for a good length of time in the warehouse of an authorized Polk dealer, Acoustic Sound Design, in Nevada. If you're interested in the speakers' provenance, the dealer has been on eBay since 2000 with nearly 11,000 transactions and 100% current positive feedback. Their eBay store is at https://www.ebay.com/usr/acousticsounddesign?_sp=p2488212.m41214.l9763

If you'd like me to fully remove a speaker from the box and photograph it for you I can do so if you're seriously interested in purchasing. I could even hook them up to my system if you'd like. But for obvious reasons I'm probably not going to unbox more than a couple of speakers at a time.

As I've said before, 10% of my net profit from the sale of these speakers (and the LSiM-705 and LSiM-702f/x that were also included on the pallet) will go to @helipilotdoug 's son and grandson via their GoFundMe page: https://www.gofundme.com/5rde6zc And... get this... I ended up getting the entire pallet for $1700 rather than the $2000 in the original listing due to a shipping snafu on the seller's end. So there should be a good bit of love to go around.

If you're within a couple of hours or so drive of Champaign, IL, we can discuss meeting somewhere mutually convenient for hand delivery. I can also double box the speakers for shipping if you'd like. I will not ship internationally and will only ship to Alaska, Hawaii or Puerto Rico if you pay the actual shipping cost on top of the price of the speaker.

The price of $300 per speaker, delivered, is fixed, regardless of delivery method. I just don't want to get into a lot of negotiating and number crunching to figure out how much shipping would cost vs. the cost of gas to drive them somewhere, yada yada yada. I've spend a good amount of time over the last several days looking at how these sell on eBay and had a very informative conversation with @Glashub about his recent purchase of 703's. I think $300 each is quite a fair price. I've listed them for $375 each and $725 per pair on eBay.

Payment should be made to stretch@stretchphotography.com via PayPal and marked "friends & family."

Finally, I am not an authorized Polk Audio dealer nor am I in any way associated with Polk Audio other than as a very satisfied long time customer.
