Looks good Steve! I can’t help but think that the complete lack of humidity greatly contributes to the longevity of items on the patio. As long as they are in the shade and covered during a dust storm, should last forever.

But what happened to the Energy C3s? Weren’t they on patio duty for a long time?

Good use of the PVC to hide the speaker wires (ding ding!!!), I am in the process of finalizing my patio/backyard setup also. Mainly for music, but also for the movie nights on the blow up screen.

Picked up this mobile workstation at a secondhand store for $40

It holds: Pioneer Elite VSX 01 AVR, Squeezebox Classic and a Pioneer BDP 120, The large cabinet space could hold a 32" monitor, I'll wait to see if I'll add another Fire TV box in the future.

I'm kinda shocked that TV has lasted. Gets pretty hot down there, even in the shade. You'd think something inside that TV would melt. TV's aren't exactly built like tanks these days.

I'm surprised the cold hasn't messed up the screen. We can and do get into the high teens in the winter, though rarely. Usually the temps here take a significant drop if you can just get some shade, because of the low humidity. We can comfortably sit on the shaded patio in 105 degree weather; it's the intense sun that cooks you like an egg.

On 2 occasions, with insane winds, that TV did get rained on. I just let it sit for a week unplugged, and it dried out.

Forgot about how cold it can get there too. Either way, that TV sure can handle the extremes, ya found a good one for that application.

TV's made for outdoors, are unbelievably expensive.

Steve, have you ever been to Bisbee? I have been intrigued by that town ever since seeing the film "Violent Saturday" (1955) on Turner Classic Movies years ago.

Oh yeah. It's just about 20 minutes away. Serious hippy town, you'll feel like it's 1969 again. The picture above is the main drag. The copper pits are also pretty cool to see. There are bars in Bisbee that have been in constant operation since the late 1800's. Rumor is, Bisbee was far tougher than Tombstone as miners were seen as way more rambunctious than cowboys.

We go there at least once a year for the Jazz festival in the city park. Tombstone is about 20 minutes from our house.

The mines (Copper Queen and Lavender Pit) were both featured prominently in the film.

The bank was used for the bank robbery and one of the robbers staked-out the area from that building across the street. :p

That view is from the Main Coffee shop. If you go up the street on the P.O. side (about 2 buildings up), there's a place called the "Cornacopia" with THE BEST home made meatloaf sandwiches, on home made bread, that your lips will ever touch. Don't even get me started on their home made potato soup.

If you could turn your body 90 degrees to the right, you'd look up a hill and see The Copper Queen Hotel/Bar. Very neat place to sit out on the patio and have a beer.

Yeah, that Dayton model sounds much better than it should for the money.

They often go on sale for around $70/pr!

We've had a pair on the patio for a couple years, and I helped my brother-in-law install 2 pair for their patio and pool this summer. They are my go-to reco for good sounding, inexpensive outdoor speakers.
