Why did Polk discontinued the SDA series?

    found out yesterday that Polk Audio is not privately owned any more. Maybe the holding co. has a say so on what gets to be made and sold. I also own 2Bs but when the h/t craze hit w/ smalls and htib that was the death knell of the SDA LINE.

    Well they were the last of the series and had the least amount produced soooo. They came along about the time Bose hit the market with the acoustimass stuff and it took off pretty good. At that time in history many were looking for BIG sound with no foot print and many came out with a sub/satellite combo.
