I wouldn't want to be known as the Brett Favre of the Polk Forum now, would I??

You mean a legend? What's wrong with that?

Alright, I can't leave the forum without a proper goodbye to you guys, as this thread has brought me the greatest fun and comradery over the past 13 years. :)

I am going to write one up while listening to this:

Gone as in forever Rick? When did you decide this? I must have missed something.

Taken from a recent Audioholics reply regarding "Club Polk" and Polk speakers:
"I'm yet to hear a Polk speaker that merits more than a sentence and 60 seconds discussion." :\
My response is: If you need 60 seconds to respond in one sentence, you probably should't be evaluating Polk speakers.....

I hate to see you leave, Rick. Reconsider? It wouldn't be like Brett Favre. More like James Brown, leaving the stage exhausted with his cape over his shoulders, then throwing it off and returning to the mic dancing.

Dang Rick...I wondered what happened to all that 'eye candy' that you used to post on here...As it seems your mind is made up,I guess all that there is left to say is..Have a good life bro..travel well...and to quote an old saying I heard once..Remember..the ox is slow..but the Earth is patient...

I wasn’t on the forum much last night and didn’t see what went on here. I’m sad to see Rick leave. That said I totally agree as to what happened to Redted was uncalled for and I passed on my feelings to Ken via PM at the time. Red was baited into losing his temper. This is why it’s very very rare that I participate anywhere on the Polk Forum but this thread.
