Where to go from here?

Hello guys..thanks for having me.

I've been putting my system to gather for a while now, and am now looking for a receiver to power it all.
I currently have the following:
RTIA7's for fronts
RTIA5's for rears
RTIA1's for surround
CSI3 center
PSW125 powered sub
All powered by a Pioneer VSX 1027 (165w x 7) via 16g wiring.

I'm pretty sure I'll need to push the speakers harder. Not sure what receiver is a good choice in the 2000$(CAD) market. Any input would be much appreciated. I'm pretty new at designing a proper system, I've always just hooked up the speakers and just placed them where they fit in the room. Over the next year or so I plan on putting a games room in the unfinished basement with a theater-like setup in one half of the room. So placement will be thought out a little better in its new space.

Any suggestions? Can I use the preout to run speakers from a 2nd AVR? Or should I replace my receiver, add an amp? Thanks for your help!!

Yes..i think your right. Underpowered for sure. Just got the a7s and a1s..havent tried to push them yet. I have a couple pre outs on this receiver. If I add an amp for the fronts and center, would that help push the a5s as rears?

I have A9s and a CSIA6 powered by a 3 Channel amp, A3s, and A5s some times swap the A5s with FXIA6, powered by the AVR. I also run dual PSW 111s. Look for a receiver with preouts and get a 3 or 5 channel amp. I think its possible with your 2000 budget if you look on the used market.

If you got preouts on your receiver and 2000 CAD, that's like what 5000 in American dollars? :D Look for Parasound, B&K, Adcom. Outlaw Audio has some good prices on new stuff, not sure what you have for an AVR, but put a Amp on the front three and you should be good.

Your AVR doesn’t have pre outs, so I would suggest getting another AVR for your preamp. I would look at Yamaha, Pioneer, Older Denon or Marantz if your willing to go used (not sure what their new stuff is like, or if it’s any good), anyone else want to chime in? Whatever you get, make sure it has full 5.1 pre outs.
For separate amplifiers, I don’t know a ton about them, so I will let others help in that area.
