I have a 2910 in my office rig that I bought from a CP member. Think I paid $100. No complaints.

    It plays HDCD's also.

What a bargain then if it was 1K when new.

Man, those RT2000P speakers look like they'd be just about PERFECT for the type of music that I like. The built in powered subs probably sound awesome.

Actually, they don't. While they do ok to augment the mid bass, they sound slow and muddy for lower bass. Just my opinion there, having owned them in the past.

It looks like he has 2 B&K 200.7's. I'd take either one if I weren't 2000 miles away.

    Same!

I sent him an email, I'm willing to go check them out abd see what's what. I can ship at buyers expense providing he has boxes, or, I can have it packed at buyers expense.

I have no need for multi channel amps, I have a B&K 200.5 with one bad channel collecting dust. Been sitting for 7-8 years since I took the HT apart. I am willing to take a look at these prices and maybe secure for someone. I cam deliver to AXPONA next month, or, LSAF in May.

I was involved in an online discussion of the pronunciation of "Louisville" once.

I had always thought it was "LOO-wee-vill". (With an ending like "Nashville".)

Someone from Kentucky pronounced it as "LOO-vull".

Another person from West Virginia pronounced it as "LUZE-veal".

And a guy from England swore up and down that the ONLY correct way to pronounce it was "LEWIS-ville". :p

I don't want to derail the thread but it's pronounced two ways in Kentuckiana (Indiana/Kentucky area). Louisvillians say "LOO-vull", the further north you go in Indiana it changes to "LOO-wee-ville". I use "LOO-wee-ville" which most will say is incorrect.

And even within Louisville some say "Lou-a-vul" but real soft on the "a"

Well, when I got there they had one 200.7 left and he told me someone was coming for it in the morning. Said it was $800. I politely showed him his ad, he said he would check but was sure it was $800. I told him it would have been nice to know it was sold before I made a trip. Typical CL BS runaround.
