Ok... Not trying to be the fuddy duddy here but here's some modded SRS 2's in Portland. Wonder if this would be a worthy upgrade to my 1C's?? Probably should just stick with what I have for now. The boss about blew a gasket when I showed her a pic of the 1.2 tl's i was eyeing...

With those mods and tweeters and binding posts already done,

You'll be in for a TREAT and a mind-blowing too. 800.00 is high but he did do alot to them and if they're in mint cond. , It might not be such a high price after all.

They look clean, and are early vintage, but even with that, I'd say they're only worth $150 at the most. Then you get to modding them... $$$

Yes you can see the p/b socket

    I'd pay it

I wonder why the left channel speaker has the red binding post nut on the right when the illustration shows it should be on the left?

I had a pr. of SDA-CRS's that had that anomaly of different nut possitions but I didn't know it for a while. Some guys here on the Forum and I tried to figure out why there was something seriously wrong with the sound. We eventually got around to those nuts. Putting the positive wire where it belonged on the one speaker CURED the weird sound coming from them. Somebody had switched one speakers nuts.
After correcting them, I was and still am blown away by those bookshelf speakers!
