SDA grill badge removal "how's it done"

Ok fellas I'm looking at replacing my grill cloth on my 2Bs, yep we had a cat years ago. As I look at the badge it has a single post with a metal clip down in a recess, how do I remove it without damage or breaking the post? Any help would be much appreciated Happy New Year.

    Take some small needle nose pliers and peel back the two tabs that are pressed against the post. Or anything small that can pry those tabs back.
    After it's out push those tabs back down. So it'll grab when you push it back on.
