We also added this to preserve our bushes just incase you know who shows up for Christmas.

Wrap up a few fake gifts with your kids names on them, place under the tree. Between now and Xmas, every time one of them misbehaves, grab one of their presents and toss it into the lit fire...that'll teach'em....
