    This is spot on, need lots of power. Also, I listen to rock with these all the time. Sounds amazing, but is not going to blow you out of your seat. Depends on how you listen and what you listen for. Tight, defined, accurate works across all genres.

    I really like my HL5+ speakers. Incredible on jazz, acoustic, classical and sounds fine with rock too, just not the chest pounding bass some prefer.
