^ maybe the WAF dipped to an unacceptable level and there was an ultimatum: sell them or I burn them... Of course, no one dictated what they were to be sold for ;)

what is wrong with the top? The 15TL on the right looks like it is missing a big piece of the top

To me it looks like the glass was removed for some reason and then placed back half-hazardly

You are both seeing a reflection on the top of the furniture dolly underside (or what looks like a furniture dolly). Your seeing the reflection of the Bare MDF on that dolly

You see the same dolly in the second picture but can tell its not damage. In teh first it just happens to line the MDF with the sides/front to make it appear like damage

I spoke with the seller, he says that there is no damage to the tops it is simply a reflection. He stated that they are far from perfect but that his price reflects this. Not sure if I should peruse them in their current condition.

well... you do seem short of (Polk speaker) options at this point - might be worth a look! >:)

The seller contacted me earlier today to see if I still had interest in the speakers. I had to pass on them. I have 3 children and exposed tweeters and dust covers are too tempting for little fingers. The grills on this model are extremely difficult to find for sale regardless of condition.

After 28 yrs working in the mailroom i have perfected the art of rubber band shooting. The newbies come in start their stuff the others step aside. I can drill them with authority at 30' they hate me for it. But they learn quick not to shoot me in their reindeer games. Nothing like leaving little red race track welts on them.

Yea, i just spoke with who i thought the seller was and its not him so proceed with caution i guess. It would be cool to have a set that has never been used...if what the seller states is true.
  • If they were in those boxes when crushed, magnet shifts are possible.
