Agree 1000% heck the top hats alone are worth the asking price to some folks. Switch out the SL1000 for 194 and rebuild the xo and you have a D A M N fine set of speakers.

It's unfortunate too that these are not closer, I have a co-worker who is interested in improving his in home audio from the cheap little Bluetooth speaker boxes he currently uses. I figure a set of 10s should suit the space he needs to fill, I just need to find a suitable amp to run them that's in his price range.
For the right price, I'd do the same for a pair of 2.3s3 hours? My 2.3TL's were over 10 hours round trip. -
