I'm not sure if this would be classified as Jazz or what, but it's great! Looking for new music? Check this out on youtube and then maybe switch to CD/lossless digital (might even be on vinyl). -

Yeah I always liked it too. Remember buying it as an 8-track tape.
Nick Lowe has re-emerged over the past few years and tours frequently with one of my all-time favorite bands (and Conan O'Brien's too) "Los Straitjackets".Cruel To Be Kind w/Los Straitjacketshttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qRiB2Vp-A4M
I saw them together on Conan O'Brien where Los Straitjackets is a frequent guest.Nick Lowe & Los Straitjackets - Christmas At The Airport - Live - Conan O'Brienhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TEwNS869Yyg -
What got me into Lowe was when I got hold of a copy of Pure Pop For Now People......Switchboard Susan and American Squirm are two very good tunes on Labour...Loved his stuff through the RockPile days too..There were some very good groups making quality music during that time period...Like a throwback to the British Invasion days...

Speaking of albums that bring back fond memories, here’s another one that I haven’t listened too in a long time.
I bought this 8-track back in 1978 and played the living crap out of in my 1970 Chevelle SS 396 I had back then (my 1st car at 16 years old and bad to the bone!).
It was equipped with a Craig 8-track player and Craig PowerPlay 6x9 speakers (the hot setup back then).
A great album from the late 70’s from an often overlooked band……Head East – Head East (1978)Dance Away Loverhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zE4D5Yy-ItEGet Up & Enjoy Yourselfhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JzmAhLfx_8ESince You’ve Been Gone -
