That kind of sums it up. It's the Surf/Instro-Mental wave that made a resurgence in the early 90's and is still going strong today. While I like the classic instrumental surf from the 60's, my main focus is on this later stuff. I have thousands of CDs and buy new releases every week from around the world. Most are on small "Indie" labels with limited runs so if you don't buy some of them quickly you don't get one. Some of these CDs sell for big bucks on eBay and Amazon after they become OOP.
What I am basically doing with them here is ripping CDs into my FLAC collection. I scan all the artwork at 300 DPI and then tag everything. It's a lot of work.
A lot of these releases are not on YouTube but some are.
