MIT Spades work with Pioneer SC?

I was wondering if anyone has tried connecting MIT speaker wire spades to the back of a Pioneer SC receiver.
I am looking at another pair of MIT Terminator 2 cables for my center channel and ran across a set that has spades on the amp end
I was not sure if they would work with a regular receiver since the binding posts are much closer than an amp
Any thoughts?

My sc1523 will not accept spades. It has those goofy posts with the slot for bare wire and connections for banans. Not possible to use spades. Not sure if they are all the same

thanks for your confirmation
Mine has those as well
I guess I could always change the connector or remove it all together -
If the cables have the ICONN ends you simply unscrew the spades and put MIT bananas on. If the spades are soldered on, desolder them and solder MIT bananas on.Political Correctness'.........defined

Spades suck , go for banana terminated cables. If you do buy the spade models, what F1nut suggested is the way to go.Dan
