LSIFX for sale

Going to sell one pair of my lsifx, going to hold onto the other. I am original owner, these are the older model that seem to have some kind of plastic veneer on them. They are flawless, but Will conservatively rate them an 8/10. I have original box, shipping won't be a problem. They have always been hung on the wall away from things that scratch. Asking 400 Canadian funds. Will ad pics shortly.

To be exact, its $305.68 USD. Which while not quite karma, IS an excellent deal for these speakers, even with shipping. If I was in the market i would be all over it!

These are phenomenal. That's why I decided to keep a pair (just in case I get that home theater bug again). I haven't had a chance to ad pictures, but they are coming tomorrow evening.

How would you say these compare to the fx500 and fx1000(well my fx1000 not working right now). They would be going along with a polk lsim 705 and 706. Currently my sides are fx500 and rears are rti4. Heck while I am asking , how would these compare to the lsim702?

I have no idea how they compare to those you have listed. They were polks flagship surround speaker for quite some time. I've loved them
For many, many years. They are very versatile with placement. I used these with lsim fronts stage and worked very well.

Lol. I have always wondered how those would sound. Looked at some stock photos the other day, Lsifx look nice! You needed to convince me not to buy them! No border paperwork to ship them to the States for you.

Huge is right, a drywall anchor won't do, you have to mount directly onto studs.

How about those heavy duty ez anchors...i think they hold about 50 pounds or so. Found out about those from some contractors during a kitchen Reno. So much sturdier than those hammer in anchors. I think they a bit bigger than my current fx500, but nothing like twice the size... the lsifx might be smaller than the fx1000 I have lying around, but never repaired.

I have used these before, the plastic anchors pulled out of the wall, and made a nice big hole. I them used these. Next time I mounted them they went onto studs, if available

Ah yes, these toggle bolts. Have used these to hang up some mounting brackets for fixtures in the past. They are usually my last resort lol. Maybe all of your anchors pulled our because of all the bass from the pb13's at reference volume

Mikeyb128 or anyone else have any tips on setting these up? I currently have some fx500 as surrounds on the side a wall a few inches behind the ears and then have a set of rti4 as rear surround on the back wall about two feet behind couch (that's as far as I can move the couch off rear wall). The rti4 are atleast four feet apart, but only about two feet from the side wall...i might move them a little bit closer together on the rear wall...but not much!

I used the btech bt77 mounts into studs and just turned the based so it clamps front to back instead of the sides. I use an industrial zip tie around the bracket as a secondary measure to ensure it doesn't fall. Has been up for 3 years and no sign of going anywhere. I can post a picture when I get home if wanted.

LOL - too funny Shawn! Dan sent me that pic as an alternative way to mount my LSi-F/X's. Don't know how he got the pic from you... :o

I have almost the identical mounts that I was using for rear surrounds when I had my Boston's. I ended up hanging the F/X's using the keyhole slots and screws directly into a stud on one side and a solid wall on the other. They are heavy buggers though...

I had my old rears on stands like that . . . unfortunately, mine requires to drill a hole in the bottom of the speaker to put in a screw.
