Price on Polk RT7

I just agreed on a price of $75 for a pair of Polk RT7s on Craig's List. That doesn't include the center channel shown in the picture. He says they are in good working order and the grill covers are in good shape.

I saw a pair of these sold in December on eBay for $45 with shipping.

What do you guys think about the price and about the sound of these speakers?

get him to bundle in the center for a few dollars more.
The RT7 are real easy to listen to.

His original offer was $120 for all three of them. But I already have a Polk CSi A4 center..

Where are you located? I'm pretty sure shipping would kill the deal.

I think that they are really nice bookshelves, BIG for bookies, good bit of bass, first gen of the tri-lam dome tweeter which I really like.

That said, if a woofer or tweeter blows, you're up a creek. So I wouldn't spend too much on them...

$75 is the shallow end of the creek.
