upgrade question

Hi All;
I've been reading this forum for about a month now and have learned alot.I think the main thing I've learned is how to spend lots of money:p
I recently purchased rt800i front l/r,cs400i & fx300i surround.
My receiver is Sony 835 dts 100w/5.TV is Sony 53V75.
I initially just wanted to upgrade the speakers from Sony satellites.Everyone knows you can't do just one:p
I have now decided to upgrade the receiver to a Denon 3802 to utilize 7.1.I have the fx300i on the sides set to dipole.I thought if I could find a pair of fx500i's I would put those on the sides and move the 300's to the rear. The 300's are about 3' above my listening position and about 3' over on the wall. The rears would be approx. 3 1/2 ft. behind and about 3 ft.up.Would that be the right choice or should I go with 25i or 35i.The room is 12x24 and I sit at 18ft from the screen.
The next upgrade is a Toshiba 57hx81.See it's a disease

Thanks for the help this is a great forum

welcome to the forum...:D
I'll keep the fx300i's where they are and add the 25's or 35's.
Are either of them better matched with the rest of the system or wouldn't it matter.
Thanks again

Plus it's not too deep, and can fit on a shelf either flat or standing on end as a mirrored pair.
Mine are standing on end on a wrap around shelf in the back of the HT room. I have them angled towards the listening area for best imaging. They look kinda like mini towers, and match the black finish on my other Polks. The drivers are very similar to the RT800i and CS400i, so panning is seamless and everything is timbre matched.
I'm not saying it's necessarily better than a Polk bookshelf speaker, just a bit easier to manage and more flexible due to its smaller size and more reasonable depth.
Just my $0.02..........

This is how I would spec out your system.Use the rt800i's as fron't's, the cs400i as center, get rid of the fx300's and get a pair of fx/500's for side's and use the rt35i's as surround back, if you want to get really tricky, buy 2 pair's of rt35i's, use one pair as surround back, and the other as surround B for music.Just use the fx/500's as movie rears.
you didn't mention a sub, go with the pws450, perfect for this system.
So how do you like that Denon???good choice man good choice!!
