You can buy from GIK acoustics, probably better than diy and they're not too costly Vu

+1 on this. I somehow stumbled across this site and decided to go with these myself.

Finally, I've finished all ten of DIY Acoustic panels and added them to 4 walls of the room, today. Also, the Ortofon 2M black (thanks to Neil) is so good that I can't stop listening to LPs in the past 2 weeks... u4czd2ff29ox.jpg

Stunning! Sounds good too, that I'm certain.

I am planning the layout of my existing DIY sound panels in the room.
Please briefly describe panel construction. Type of fabric, filler, frame if any. Suggestions for ceiling too? My HT space, as so many others, can stand more attention in this too often overlooked/undervalued system component.

I've discussed (w/wife) hanging a large single or two smaller solid dark color tapestries behind TV at our next/last house. Left edge extending 3'-5' to the left of the left speaker and the right edge the same to the right. The idea to provide sound AND visual treatment.

The panels (25.0 x 50.0 x2, about 10.5 lbs each) you saw in the image were made with Owens Corning fiberglass, wood frame material from Home Depot, Burlap cover, Heavy Duty D-Ring Picture Hangers, and SuperSoftstrand Size 8 Picture wire.

Tools: stapler, drills, table saw, small hammer, and scissors.

The room with the panels look better than it is in the image..
