New toy is here... Too bad it's just staring at me all boxed up, I got a couple shifts I gotta get through first.

But I'm excited... I hope I didn't get PFB'd.

    Yep... I wish I had the Cary 306SACD here to compare directly, but I can say this is superb sounding. It really is getting to the point where the sound staging is just so easy...

    And I'm still missing my Emm Link cable. This will allow full DSD up sampling.

    Don't worry about that Emm link cable. I'm sure a paperclip jammed into them will give the same result.

    Just make sure it's a nice paperclip, cheap ones don't have very good midrange...

    And yes, it is better than any source I have ever tried thus far. It really distances itself from even great players like the Cary 306.

    Well I found out that the input selector would not switch via remote. Good thing I have a good buddy locally with an Emm stack also and checked his remote against mine.... It's not an issue with the dac but an issue with the remote which is quite a relief!

    Actually it sounds better than the stack looks, by a significant margin. I think I'm getting there.

    Just need some diffusors and bass traps and I think I'm set
